Hillingdon Hearts is a new virtual recognition scheme giving you the chance to highlight everyday acts of kindness of your colleagues. Send a virtual heart via the intranet or staff app to a deserving colleague and attach a short message explaining why. Show your appreciation and make someone smile!

How does it work?

Access the recognition platform via the intranet or staff app, where you can send a ‘heart’ to a colleague. Staff receive the virtual ‘heart’ when a compliment is sent to them, with an email notification. The scheme gives each member of staff five hearts to give away to different colleagues each month.

Show your appreciation and recognise everyday acts of kindness, by sending someone a heart! A simple 'thank you' can go a long way with this peer-to-peer recognition.

Invitation to a celebration breakfast when you get five hearts

Each month, staff who have received five hearts will be invited to a celebration breakfast with the CEO, Lesley Watts. You will be joined by that month's CARES Awards winners and Long Service Awards.

Simple and easy to use

We have kept it simple. Send a virtual heart to a colleague, putting the recognition message in a CARES category:

You can easily access the recognition panel through the intranet homepage or staff app to highlight latest nominations and enable staff to cast their votes quickly.

This won't replace CARES Awards: You can still nominate a colleague for a CARES Award via GREATix.
