Choices restaurant on the lower ground floor of the tower block serves a range of traditional fayre with a menu that changes every week. On fair-weather days, you can enjoy our garden patio seating area. We have outdoor heating in certain areas to allow you to sit outside on cold days.
- Normal opening times: 8am-3pm Monday to Friday. Seating and vending area open 24 hours
- Breakfast available: 8am-10.30am
- Full lunch service including hot and cold food: 11.30am-2.30pm
- Free drinking water available in restaurant

Food for Life accreditation
Working in partnership with Food for Life has helped us to innovate. As a result, we have improved our food services for staff, patients and visitors and are delighted to have won a number of national awards.
For 2021/22, after a lengthy and rigorous online assessment covering 12 sets of criteria, our Trust’s restaurant food was certified for another year for its sustainability, freshness, healthiness, balance, variety, traceability and in-house production.

We recognise the importance of food, both for patient recovery and the quality of their hospital experience, and for the morale and wellbeing of our staff.

Bevan's cafe and shop
Main reception, ground floor, Tower Block
Open 7.30am-5.30pm weekdays, 8.00am-5.00pm at weekends. Bevan's sells hot beverages, cakes and pastries, sandwiches, sweets and confectionary, as well as a range of items useful to anyone staying in our hospital, such as daily newspapers, books, magazines, greeting cards and puzzle books.
