Dying Matters Week 2025

At the Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, we want to create a culture where we all feel more comfortable expressing our feeling of love and loss, of memory and of celebration of our loved ones – and Dying Matters Week gives us the perfect opportunity.
From 6-9 May, we will help you to celebrate and commemorate your loved ones and learn more about the services we offer to those left behind. We want everyone to receive the best care and support when the person they care about has died.
We are establishing a Memory Wall, a place for you to honour your loved one alongside the commemorations of many other people from our community and from among those who work at our hospitals.
The wall will provide a place for you to pay tribute in words and pictures.
To take part, please complete the form below and submit a digital picture of a loved one. If you prefer, you can fill it in by hand. Ask for a form at the reception desk at Hillingdon Hospital, fill it in and put it along with a photograph of your loved one into the box on the main reception desk. Please do not bring the only copy of a precious picture because we cannot guarantee to return it to you. A photocopy will be fine.
We will be glad to accept your commemorations throughout the month of May.
Our Memory Wall will be established by Tuesday, 1 May in the space between the main reception area and the lifts at Hillingdon Hospital, and will be there throughout the month. Turn right past Bevan’s coffee shop and you will find it on the left-hand side.
