Our Learning and Research Department supports our staff to develop the skills required to progress in their careers and to provide our patients with outstanding care. Our facilities include a 130-person lecture theatre, a range of teaching and seminar spaces, clinical skills and medical simulation facilities.
All staff have access to our Library Services,based in the Education Centre at Hillingdon Hospital. The library at Mount Vernon Hospital is part of the North and East Hertfordshire Trust with access given to all staff at Mount Vernon Hospital.
We have approximately 3300 books, some print journals and access to items from other NHS libraries through our inter-library loans service.

Online training and induction
When you start working with us, you will find all the induction information you need on our iDevelop portal. Any ongoing online training is also carried out on iDevelop.
