Booking a blood test
Your haematologist will encourage you to have your blood tests before your appointment, in order to have all results available for the consultation. Please click the link above to book your blood test appointment.
If this is not possible, a phlebotomist is available during the clinic but results will be unavailable at the point of seeing the doctor.
Please remember to bring a copy of a letter which shows your NHS number.
Specialist blood tests
Specialist, ‘send-away’ blood tests, such as BCR-ABL and JAK-2 testing, will not be available through our phlebotomy service and will need to be booked through the Medical Haematology Day Unit. The team will be happy to help you.
