Patients and visitors
Coming to hospital can be daunting and confusing, no matter how old you are or how many times you have been in the past. We aim to offer the best patient experience for people who use our services, whether you are an outpatient or day patient, staying in hospital (inpatient) or visiting someone in hospital.
Where is your appointment?
Your appointment may be virtual (over a computer or smartphone), or at either of our hospitals (Hillingdon Hospital or Mount Vernon Hospital). Please check your appointment letter to see where and how you are expected to attend your appointment.
Are you going into the hospital?
Hospitals are big places. There are signposts in the hospitals to help you find where you want to go and our staff are there to help, so will be more than happy to point you in the right direction. We also have a team of volunteers with identity badges on who will be happy to help you out.
Access guides to the hospitals
We have teamed up with AccessAble to provide you with access guides to our hospitals. They are facts, figures and photographs of the sites, giving you loads of useful information to work out if somewhere is going to be accessible to you.
