Trust welcomes Boris for new hospital update

Following the successful planning application decision by Hillingdon Council to approve the plans for the new Hillingdon Hospital, local MP Boris Johnson visited Hillingdon Hospital on Tuesday 7 March for an update.

During the meeting, the Uxbridge and South Ruislip MP praised the new hospital plans, noting its "fantastic new facilities that will do justice to the care and skill of the amazing staff who work here...".

The plans are being readied for referral to the Mayor of London for final sign-off – this is standard practice for a project of this size. We are also waiting final confirmation of funding for the plans from central government.

We really want to hear your views - especially as we continue to develop the plans in more detail.

You can read more and have your say on the redevelopment web pages.
