Celebrating Estates and Facilities Day 2024
Staff at the Trust came together to celebrate National Estates and Facilities Day on Wednesday.
Around 100 people gathered at Choices Restaurant at Hillingdon Hospital to mark the event, which is an annual celebration of those who help keep our hospitals running on a daily basis.
As well as plenty of music, dance and cake, there were information stands from our partners to showcase how their work makes a difference to both patients and the local community.
There was also an awards ceremony to recognise staff for their efforts and achievements.
Awards were handed out by Steve Wedgwood, director of operational estates and facilities and chief executive Patricia Wright, among others.
The categories for the awards included innovation, digitisation, people development, personal development and a Green award.
In addition, five awards were handed out for the staff who displayed our five CARES values - namely communication, attitude, respect, equity and safety - when carrying out their work and dealing with colleagues and patients.
