Walk or run but have fun – our hospital charity half-marathon is back!

Legs seen from behind, from the knee down. They're wearing black leggings and running shoes. On a street with wet tarmac.

Spring is coming, so best foot forward: it’s time to get out there and raise some cash for our charity.

‘Half a marathon’ might sound like a lot – it’s not, if you do it with friends, with family, with colleagues and share the experience with everyone!

Our Charity Team are asking you to walk or run 13 miles in as many ‘bits’ as you want and earn yourself a medal while raising money for our planned rehabilitation garden at Hillingdon.

You can walk or run, and there will be medals for those who run the 13 miles in one go, but no matter how you do it, the main thing is to have fun, feel fulfilled – perhaps a bit fitter? – and enjoy yourselves. Your efforts are appreciated and will be celebrated on our media platforms.

Entry costs £15, and for details of how to enter and tips for raising sponsorship, please email Shirley Clipp, Major Appeals Manager, in the charity office via thh.charityhalfmarathon@nhs.net.
