Governor elections now open
The Trust has officially opened its governor elections today, Friday 21 July. Being a governor allows you to participate actively in shaping the future of healthcare services within the Trust.
The governors are central to the local accountability of a Foundation Trust and have an important role in ensuring that the Trust board takes account of the views of the members and stakeholders when making major decisions. As governors, the elected individuals will actively contribute to the decision-making process, making a significant impact on the quality of healthcare services provided by the Trust.
The election period will run from Friday 21 July, until Friday, 18 August, providing ample time for you to declare your interest in the role. Voting opens on Thursday 7 September and closes on Thursday 28 September. By engaging in these elections, you can ensure your voice is heard and you can contribute to the continuous improvement of healthcare at our Trust.
