Trust's disability network relaunches as ‘Able 4 All’

It’s a new year and a new era for the Trust’s disability network, which has relaunched as ‘Able 4 All’.

We are also delighted to announce that Natasha Allen, senior midwife, was recently appointed as co-chair, and joins Matthew Page (above) in leading the network.

The new name reflects a shift in the conversation around disabilities, with a greater emphasis on how we can proactively build environments and cultures that enable everyone to perform at their best, whether or not staff have an identified or disclosed disability.

Able 4 All provides a safe environment for our staff to identify challenges and offer suggestions for how we can improve. We examine different elements of the organisation to ensure our hospital is accessible not only for service users and visitors but also for our workforce.
