Keep well, keep warm this winter

Keeping well and keeping warm in the winter months can be a struggle for all of us as temperatures plummet.

With the nights drawing in early as well, these challenges can put a real strain on our every day lives so in light of this, we have put together some useful information about the services you can access to ensure you seek the right support from the right people.

NHS 111

If you're unsure, or have a non-life-threatening medical need, visit 111.nhs.uk or call 111 who can also direct you to your local mental health crisis line if your concerns are related to mental health.

NHS 111 is here to make it easier and quicker for patients to get the right advice or treatment they need, be that for their physical or mental health.

  • 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • To get help from NHS 111, you can:
  • Go online to 111.nhs.uk (for assessment of people aged 5 and over only).
  • Call 111 for free from a landline or mobile phone.

Please only attend A&E if you have a physical health emergency.

If you're unsure what to do, contact 111 online or on the phone
