Cable work in front of Hillingdon Hospital

Urgent work on power cables running along Pield Heath Road, related to the recent substation fire at Heathrow, will start on Tuesday 8 April, carried out by Scottish and Southern Electricity. The area affected is in front of the A&E entrance and work will last for two weeks, with temporary traffic lights in operation between 9.30am and 3.30pm.

If you are coming to Hillingdon Hospital, please use an alternative entrance if able to walk to your required location; this will help relieve traffic pressure.

For those using public transport to reach the hospital, the bus stop on the eastern side of Pield Heath Road will be out of service. All hospital services will be operating as normal.

Any updates to the situation will be posted here.
