The Hasbro elves help us to deliver Christmas to our youngest patients

Once again, Santa, Rudolph, the elves and the superheroes delivered a sleighful of toys to our children’s wards in time for Christmas.

Children on Bumblebee Ward at Hillingdon got a lovely surprise when the team representing toy maker Hasbro (Santa likes to help where he can – there’s only one Santa, remember) appeared as if by magic on Wednesday 6 December, with beautifully wrapped toys and games for boys and girls, carefully chosen for the recipient’s age.

The Stockley Park-based company has supported our paediatric wards at Christmas for many years and we are always so grateful for their generosity. The visit was superbly organised by our Trust charity, and paediatric play specialists Laura Williams and Stacey Leigh.

Colleagues working on Bumblebee Ward got into the Christmas spirit for the visit, with a host of hats, from Santa stuck in the chimney to reindeer antlers and Christmas trees.
