Ho-ho Hoops support kids again at Christmas

Players and officials of QPR visiting Bumblebee Ward to give gifts to the children

Players and officials from Queen’s Park Rangers FC have once again showed magnificent support for our children’s wards.

The QPR party pitched up at Bumblebee Ward at Hillingdon Hospital on Thursday 19 December for their now-traditional Christmas visit, with masses of toys, games, gifts and QPR merchandise for the young patients in our care.

Little Theodora (seven months) and her mother, Afarin, are visited by QPR mascot 'Spark' and two of the team, defender Harrison Ashby and winger Kader Dembele.

Together with team mascots, the ‘Hoops’ players accompanied ward staff on a tour of Bumblebee to greet children and their families and present them with a little something to make their stay more enjoyable. They didn't forget hard-working ward staff either, who got presents of their own.

The remaining gifts will be distributed across our children’s wards and given to children throughout the festive season.
