New Hillingdon Hospital on track following announcement

Today the government announced that the New Hospitals Programme will be backed by £20bn of investment to 2030.

It confirmed a continued commitment to schemes previously announced as part of the programme – including Hillingdon.

We therefore remain on track to deliver the new Hillingdon Hospital for our patients, staff and local people by 2030.

Our vision is to provide a state-of-the-art hospital for the residents of Hillingdon, and beyond, which supports the very best in the delivery of healthcare. The new Hillingdon Hospital will be a digitally enhanced building which is sustainable and fit for the future. It will provide the same range of services that we have now, but with improvements made possible by modern, purpose-built facilities.

Thank you to all our patients, staff, local people and partners across the local health and care system who have supported us to get to this stage. We will continue to work with you and the New Hospitals Programme on the plans while maintaining progress on our enabling and decant programme to clear the site where the new hospital will be built.
