PATCH Team receive special award
In a smaller, more intimate setting than October’s Staff Awards, members of the PATCH Team received their 2022 Staff Awards trophy from Patricia Wright, Trust CEO.
The team – PATCH stands for Providing Assessment and Treatment for Children at Home - was recognised for its outstanding work in the Chair’s Award, ‘I Am The Change’, category.
Matthew Swindells, Chair in Common of the NW London Acute Trusts, was so impressed by their efforts to provide care to children and young people at home once discharged from hospital that he made sure the team was honoured.
At the award ceremony on Thursday, 13 October, Matthew said: “I was so impressed at our Trust’s recent Open Day when I saw this team’s work that I wanted to acknowledge their initiative and commitment to improvement.”
