Dr Savi is grooving on a radio award
Radio Hillingdon, the hospital radio service at Hillingdon Hospital, has won gold in the National Hospital Radio Awards.
Dr Savi Arora's 'Smooth Groovers' was named Best Specialist Music Programme.
Dr Savi said:
"I am extremely proud to have won this award. I love volunteering for Radio Hillingdon. I get great enjoyment from presenting my programme".
Dr Savi joined Radio Hillingdon as a volunteer in 2019 and is on the station’s management committee. He presents ‘Smooth Groovers’ on Mondays from 5-7pm plus two other shows during the week.
