Staff shine at Trust's Cheer Awards
Staff across Hillingdon Hospitals were recognised for their outstanding achievements at the Trust's Great Big Cheer Awards.
The restaurant at Hillingdon Hospital was transformed into a stunning awards venue with a sparkly stage, music, food, drinks, and a photo booth for the evening, creating a celebratory atmosphere.
Opening the event, which was attended by over 100 staff, Lesley Watts, chief executive, said: "This organisation has done amazingly well this year and that's thanks to each of you. I hope that you will really enjoy this evening because you really deserve to. We received many nominations - thank you to everyone who took the time to recognise their colleagues."
Alan McGlennan, chief medical officer and managing director, added: "It is a pleasure to be the managing director of Hillingdon Hospitals. We are here to celebrate the outstanding contributions, passion, and innovations of our staff. These awards are an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the individuals and teams who make a real difference to our patients, colleagues and community.
We received a total of 265 nominations across 15 categories. The nominations were strong and the judging panels, which I was part of, had a challenging time deciding on the winners and runners-up. Everyone should be really proud of themselves - a huge congratulations to you all."
