MP visits Trust for redevelopment update

MP Steve Tuckwell visited Hillingdon Hospital on Friday 1 December, to find out the latest news about the new Hillingdon Hospital plans and to learn more about the new Cerner electronic patient record system which is now being used at Hillingdon and Mount Vernon hospitals.

Plans for the new hospital have had a number of major boosts this year, including the award of full planning permission, and government confirmation of funding for the project.

Both the Conservative and Labour parties have confirmed they would build the new hospital by 2030 and the contractor GRAHAM will get the site cleared for building.

This is one of my regular visits to Hillingdon Hospital to get updates on the progress of the redevelopment and to support in any way I can the hospital where me and my children were born

Mr Tuckwell (Con, Uxbridge and South Ruislip), said: “This is one of my regular visits to Hillingdon Hospital to get updates on the progress of the redevelopment and to support in any way I can the hospital where me and my children were born.”
