The Unsung Hero Award is given to someone in special recognition for the hard work that happens behind the scenes on a daily basis at the Trust
Main receptionist Michael Costa received the accolade at our Staff Awards night for going 'above and beyond' to assist staff and patients at Hillingdon.
"He is always willing to go the extra mile, whilst being helpful, polite and caring," read the nomination.
"Michael is a credit to the hospital, nothing is too much effort and everything is done with a smile."
